Resilience
If I had to pick the most important lesson that the last few difficult years have taught me, it would be the true meaning of resilience.
Life is inevitably going to be hard at some point. That's when resilience comes into play.
When you fall, how well you endure and how quickly you get back up again—simply put, that is resilience.
In practice, it’s about the small things. You might have a bad day and not get much done, but if you bounce back quickly the next day, you’re resilient. The longer you let something affect you, the less resilient you are, and the more time you’ll waste.
Resilient people don’t let bad events or circumstances bleed into their lives longer than necessary. They return to a higher personal energy state swiftly.
Resilience is about enduring pain and continuing forward, even when things are hard, and you’re suffering. It's about not letting things keep you bogged down, its about getting back up again as soon as you can.
It’s a simple concept, but it’s crucial to understand and practice in life.
